Viola A. "Pat" Palmer- Roberts' Obituary
PALMER-ROBERTS, Viola "Pat" age 93 of Xenia and formerly of Waynesville passed away Sat. Jan. 11, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. Pat worked several years as a secretary at the Montgomery County Coroner's Office. She was a member of the Waynesville United Methodist Church and was an avid bridge player, book reader, and crossword enthusiast. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Roberts, daughter Lynn Palmer-Standard, her parents Elva and Katie Robbins, one brother, and four sisters. She is survived by her two sons Mike (Alisa) and Doug Palmer; four grandchildren Missy (Adrian), Stefanie, Michelle, and Michael Jr.; and two great grandchildren Cedar and Solan. Funeral services 2:30 PM Thurs. Jan. 16 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Jerry Vaughn will be officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 1:00-2:30 PM Thurs. at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Hospice of Dayton, or the Epilepsy Foundation.
