Virginia Belle Dick's Obituary
DICK, Virginia Belle, age 91, of Monroe and formerly of Waynesville, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at Ohio Living Mt. Pleasant in Monroe.
Early in her life, Virginia was a member of the Waynesville First Baptist Church. In the last several years, she has been a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Lebanon.
Independent, caring, funny, and feisty, Virginia often talked about the “good ol’ days that she spent with her husband. In addition, she always had pride in what she could accumulate and accomplish from her humble upbringing. She grew up on a farm and learned to cook by helping to prepare meals for her farm family. Over the years, she continued to enjoy cooking southern cuisine. She also enjoyed shopping, especially ordering from catalogs, before the internet became so popular. Among many things, she will be remembered for her love of collecting angels.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 1987; an infant daughter, Caroline Sue Dick; her parents, Leroy and Mary Alice Fox; two brothers, Charles and Henry Fox; her sister, Mary Kathleen Flint; and nieces and nephews, Frank and Carolyn Maus, Randy and Lisa Westfall, and Camden and Cindy Flint.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, December 12, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Lebanon. Pastor William Burrows will be officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
