Walter L. Bussell's Obituary
BUSSELL, Walter L., age 93, of Lebanon passed away Tues. Dec. 4, 2018 at Landing of Long Cove in Mason.
Walter served in the United States Navy and attended the Urbancrest Baptist Church in Lebanon. He retired in 1982 from Operating Engineers. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 26 of Lebanon. He loved fishing and boating. He would even bring back frozen fish from Florida to have family fish fries. As an outgoing individual, he greatly enjoyed pulling pranks, joking around, and teasing others. He was a family man that was a great husband, father, and provider.
He was preceded in death by his son Paul David Busssell; parents Larkin and Sarah Bussell; four brothers William “Willy”, Walker, Roy and Charles; and four sisters Elisa, Matilda, Sophi, and Rhendia. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Minnie Lou; two sons Edward L. (Cheryl) Bussell and Terry J. (Kathy) Bussell; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends 11 AM - 1 PM Thurs. Dec. 6 at Urbancrest Baptist Church in Lebanon. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Thurs. Dec. 6 at Urbancrest Baptist Church. Tom Pendergrass will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Cincinnati. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is handling the arrangements for the family.
