William T. Ashmore Jr.'s Obituary
ASHMORE, William T. Jr., age 78, of Waynesville passed away Tues. June 16, 2015 at Quaker Heights Care Community, Waynesville. He was a Vietnam Army veteran. He retired from the Warren County Highway Department after nearly 25 years of service. William was a member of the Waynesville American Legion and during his younger days he was a member of the Wilmington Rangers Motorcycle Club. He greatly enjoyed attending rodeos, traveling to Amish Country and beyond, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents William T. Ashmore Sr. and Nellie Ashmore-Hosier; two brothers Elmer and Burdett; and two sisters Estella Satterthwaite and Doris McCollum. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bonnie; three sons William T. (Tami) Ashmore III, Steven L. Ashmore, and David D. (Angel) Ashmore; four grandchildren William T. (Shena) Ashmore IV, Zachary Ray Ashmore, Kayla Ashmore, and Beverly Ashmore; one great grandson William T. Ashmore V; and one sister Evelyn (Marion “Farmer”) Whitacre. Funeral service 11 am Tues., June 23 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery, Lebanon.
