William Howard Rains' Obituary
RAINS, William Howard, age 86, of Centerville, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
William was an Army veteran. He retired from Dayton Tire & Rubber in 1978 after 22 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Rebecca Rains, one brother Joe Rains, and his sister Myrtle Phillips. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nona Jean; two daughters Sandy (Cary) Tussey and Janet (Billy) Smith; four grandchildren Emily (Chris) Saporito, Blake Tussey, Katie Smith, and Candace Smith; and two brothers Walter Rains and James Rains.
A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 22 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Bennie Sutherland will be officiating. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
