Some years back, Bill told my husband and I, how strange it was to be doing one of his closest friends, George Randolph. We laughed. He said he would take great care of him and he did just that. I hope he was showed the same loyalty and honor that he gave my deceased ex-father-in-law. Prayers to the family
I had the opportunity to interact with Bill for a number of years during my time working for the Village, and have especially fond memories of working with him during Waynesville's Bicentennial year. Always a gentleman, a class act through and through. Wishing peace and comfort to his entire family.
I didn’t have the privilege to have known Mr.Stubbs very long. I was one of his caregivers at his home. But what I do know, was that he was a very good, kind, man who loved his wife and family very much. He had a lot of great memories to share with me, and I enjoyed everyone of them. I’m very honored to have called him my friend. I will miss you bunches Bill, and will keep taking care of Marilyn the best I can. Rest In Peace my friend.
I have many great memories from Fairmont East High School as well as visiting his shop in Waynesville. He was a great champion for the students and always had a word of encouragement to give. Thank you for the memories!
