RIDER, William L. “Bill” age 89 of Waynesville passed away Tues. July 21, 2009 at Quaker Heights Care Community in Waynesville. Bill was a WWII Army veteran. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Waynesville and the VFW. He was preceded in death by his former wife Mary Williams Rider and his parents William L. and Eleanor Saxton Rider. He is survived by his wife Fay Denny, son William Jacob (Mary) Rider of Spring Valley, daughter Helen R. (Gerald) Aneskewich of NC, step children Larry (Marilyn) Denny of Lebanon and Sheila (Dr. Set) Shahbabian of Cincinnati, eight grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one sister Ruth R. Davis of NY. Funeral services 2 PM Sat. July 25 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Sat. at the funeral home.
