Willie L. Wood, Sr.'s Obituary
WOOD, Willie L. Sr. age 61 of Lebanon and formerly of Harveysburg passed away Tues. July 22, 2008. He was a Vietnam Army veteran and later retired from the Lebanon Correctional Institute in 2006 after nearly 30 years of service. He greatly enjoyed fishing and camping. He was preceded in death by one son Jeremy Wood; his parents Halsey and Lessie Wood; three brothers Lee, Gilmer, and Jerry Wood; and one sister Marie Frye. He is survived by his wife Pam, married 20 years; three sons Willie Jr. (Molly), Richard (Tony), and Jimmy Wood; three daughters Glenna (Robert) McGuire, Shirley Wood, and Linda Ferguson; seven grandchildren; two brothers Jimmy and Ronald Wood; and one sister Katherine Inman. Memorial services were 11 AM Sat. July 26 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Pastor James Brown officiated.
