Yvonne E. Bradstreet's Obituary
BRADSTREET, Yvonne E. age 87, of Springboro and formerly of Waynesville, passed away Tues. Aug. 15, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton.
Yvonne was a 1948 graduate of Waynesville High School. Along with her parents, brother, and brother's wife she owned and operated the Little Red Shed Antiques in Waynesville for 45 years. She also continued to farm their land for 32 years after the passing of her husband in 1985.
She was a member of the Waynesville United Methodist Church, Progressive Women's Club in Waynesville, Waynesville Antique Dealer Association, Waynesville Historical Society, Corwin Nixon Scholarship Selection Committee, and former Director of the Warren County Fair Board. It's also noteworthy that Yvonne is the daughter of the founders of Stubbs Funeral Home.
Yvonne was a warm and caring lady who always put her family first. She had a strong faith in God. She greatly enjoyed church activities and Bible Study, wood carving, quilting, reading, going to lunch and movies with her friends, classmates, cousins, and other family members, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved snow and the beauty it presented to her farm after a winter storm. She looked forward to winter each year so she could work on her hobbies. She will be remembered as always being accepting of others, a good listener, and a lady who was proud to stand by her husband.
She is preceded in death by her husband Carl Ross Bradstreet Jr., her parents Albert "Cap" and Opal Stubbs, and nephew Scott. She is survived by two sons Mark Carl (Dawn) Bradstreet and Michael Albert (Brenda) Bradstreet; five grandchildren Lance (Alex) Bradstreet, Megan (Andrew) Minton, Jessica (Doug) Wagner, Jordan Bradstreet, and Heath Bradstreet; four great grandchildren Max, Evey, Lily, and Rory; one brother William (Marilyn) Stubbs; sisters-in-law Charlotte and Phyllis; nephews and nieces David, Jack, Carol, Lois, Frank, and their families; lifelong friends Jim and Aileen Burnett and many other special friends too numerous to mention.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Waynesville United Methodist Church or Hospice of Dayton. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
