A friend of mine, Gayle Kohnen, contacted me on Facebook and asked me to pray for Ava Grace. I never got the honor of knowing Ava Grace on earth, but I know one day I will meet her in Heaven. I have prayed so much for her during her battle with cancer that I felt I personally knew her and her parents. She was a treasure from God and we were blessed to have her on earth for five years. I too am sad and have cried many tears on her leaving us, but I am comforted knowing that she is in the Hands of Jesus Christ and is pain free and enjoying being one of His Princesses. May God comfort Jim, Amanda, Cody, all the grandparents and great grandparents, family and friends. Those that have accepted Jesus Christ will see her again.
I have followed Ava's journey since the beginning and have prayed daily for her and your family. I was blessed to meet Ava at her Grandma Judy's funeral and she was even more beautiful and happy than her photos show. I know Ava's passing will leave a hole in her family's hearts that will never be filled, but I am happy that she is at peace and celebrating with her Papaw Joe and her Grandma Judy.
