My husband and I have only know Betty for a couple of years.. we moved in next door 2 years ago.. She was an awesome lady.. kind to animals and people. Loved to read.. we went to the library auction and bought a "surprise" for Bob last year for Christmas..She knew everyone from having worked there and living here for a long time. She was fun to visit with and her and I shared an occasional cocktail on her front porch..We occasionaly went to dinner..had fun at our Super Bowl party... She was spunky and never seemed to let things get her down.. She will be greatly missed and we send our thoughts and prayers to Bob and the family.. and also to Maggie (their dog) who I know will miss her as well..
