To Joyce and the family, my sincerest condolences for the loss of your husband and father. I always considered him as a true friend and fellow band mate. I can only say that I count it a privilege,and blessing, to have played on stage in front of hundreds of folks, many times,with him, and as a result I learned how to play and conduct myself as a professional. I am grateful for those times, and how he taught me to be a better musician and person. I would like to think that he has found our other band mate, Kenny Bussell, up in heaven and they are firing up "Sally Goodin" as they did so many times down here. I am sure Barb and Lonnie are smilin' ear to ear as they have found their Dad. I hope that Carlos and Kenny have found a deserving rhythm player, as it is not easy to hang with those boys.
