Cynthia L. Johnston's Obituary
JOHNSTON, Cynthia Lynn, born in Wilmington on July 29, 1953, died un-expectantly in her home October 3, 2015 in Dayton. Cindy graduated from Clinton-Massie high School in 1971, Miami Valley Hospital School of X-Ray Technology in 1973, and received a bachelor's degree from Park College. She remained an employee of Miami Valley Hospital until her death. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Kettering. Cynthia greatly enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, and her cats. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles E. Johnston Sr. and mother, Helen L. Johnston. She is survived by six brothers and 31 nieces and nephews. Surviving brothers are Eric (Kay) Johnston, Michael (Ruth) Johnston, Derrick (Iris) Johnston, Charles (April) Johnston, Jeffrey (Analyn) Johnston, and Colin (Jane) Youngjohns. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-9:00 pm at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville and the funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Whipp Road in Dayton.
