Dave Wilson's Obituary
WILSON, Dave, age 68, of Springfield and formerly of Miamisburg, passed away unexpectedly Sat. Dec. 30, 2017 at his residence. Dave owned and operated Wilson Sign Company in Dayton for the past 48 years. Even after officially retiring, he still came in early and was the last one to leave. He also enjoyed golfing, racquetball, and his horses. He bred and raced thoroughbred horses and took great pride in their care. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Emily Woodford, his parents Buel and Gerry Wilson, and his brother Brad Wilson. He is survived by two children David (Kelly) Wilson and Jenny Woodford; two grandchildren Tanner Wilson and Riley Woodford; his sister Paula (Frederic) Mullen; and his former wife Tish. Funeral services 3 PM Sat. Jan. 6 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 12 PM - 3 PM Sat. at the funeral home.
