Gary was indeed a great joke teller and so hard working but there was a time on his birthday when we dressed up a mannequin to look like Walt Griswald from Lampoon Family Christmas (Gary's favorite holiday film) and teased our dear friend by presenting him with the replica of the movie star so Gary had to carry it around all night as we went to restaurants and back home for a party. Gary was a good sport. You are already missed. God hold tight to his wife Anita and the girls and the whole family.
My heart is heavy today, after hearing of the passing of Gary, a dear friend and brother in Christ. He and I, as well as John Buchanan, shared MANY years of friendship and business deals together. Gary was a man of unsurpassed integrity and character, and those traits remained strong...even during his "battle" these last few years. I know my dear friend is now at rest...and pain free...thanks to his faith in Jesus Christ. Rest in peace, my brother.
Me and Bud have been so Blessed to have known this sweet young man. He has made us laugh many times . He told stories,and jokes ,while driving the straw wagon ,at Schappacher’s pumpkin farm. He was a people person,and a classy Gentleman! He will be so very missed! Rest in Peace Gary!
