DAVIS, Geneva age 95, of Waynesville, passed away Fri. Feb. 5, 2016 at Quaker Heights Care Community. Geneva worked at Waynesville Elementary School as a second grade teacher until her retirement. She was a member of Waynesville U Read Obituary
Mrs. Davis was such a sweet spirit. She was my favorite teacher and stayed part of my life until I moved away. She always had a kind word and welcoming smile. What a wonderful lady. I teach in a high school and sometimes I think about how Mrs. Davis would handle the situation before I decide what I will do because I know she would handle it with love and care for the student first. She is missed.

Mrs. Davis was a sweet lady whom I always admired and respected. Patty and I were classmates and are good friends. The family is in my prayers.

Aunt Geneva was a beautiful person inside and out. I will always remember our long phone conversations and her giggling about some little something. She is missed.
I bought a home about 20 years ago, and 2 doors down I meet the Davis's. We became the greatest friends as neighbor's. They were like Grandparents . I cut their grass, cleared the snow, and did anything I could do to help them out. Jim would sit back and tell the stories of his life with Geneva at his side. They were the nicest people to be around. They would make beef stew, with the meat from the ribs and bring some over for myself and my children. They were to old to garden, so one day Jim gave me his rototiller, with one condition....that I would bring them fresh vegetables.....out of my garden.....my children would love to take the fresh vegetables over to them, I have been bless to have had them in my life.......Mike Paxson
I didn't really know Geneva, but she must have been special to raise such a wonderful daughter as Rae Lynn.
