Helen C. Vanderpool's Obituary
VANDERPOOL, Helen C. age 82, of Waynesville, passed away Mon. May 2, 2016 at Quaker Heights Care Community, Waynesville. Helen graduated from Morehead University and retired after 34 years of teaching from Wayne Local Schools in 1992. She was a member of the Waynesville First Baptist Church and she greatly enjoyed gardening, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her grandchildren during all of their activities, UK basketball, and a variety of others sports. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy in 2006, her son Jeffrey in 1999, parents William and Burnette Centers; and one sister Carolyn Bibb. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Amy Vanderpool, two grandchildren Nicholas and Justin Vanderpool, and several dear friends. Funeral services 2 PM Fri. May 6 at the Waynesville First Baptist Church. Burial will be Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 11 AM - 2 PM Fri. at the church.
