I like many people I have hundreds of stories and thousands of memories but one is when we was coming back from church when I was a kid and we was headed home and after learning from someone ( ahem.. Dennis ) I said a curse word in church she pulled over and had me pick a switch and said..David I have to be honest..this is going to hurt you worse than it will me..lol.
Mrs Iva was a sweet lady I remember her from Kroger. She was always so nice
I remember when Iva first started working at Kroger, She was and is a Beautiful soul, she took me as a daughter figure, and talked to me, told me stories, and offered to help if I ever needed it. I called her my second Momma, sure gonna miss her. Love always. Sue
Sweet Iva will forever hold a special place in my heart. That smile melted me everyday. I am honored to have loved and cared for her for the 3 years I did. She will be forever missed. I will always hold the memories near and dear to my heart.
One of my favorite Grandma Ivalene stories is the time she literally walked away from her exploding car down the lane and didn’t have time to wait for the fire department. She just had to grab another ride to get to Church on time. 😂💗⛪
My forever ride to Sunday school, every Sunday. She loved foot rubs, fried clams and Jesus (though not in that order) She was such a hard worker but always so sweet. Every cousin knew there were no rules at her house, she was just happy for all of us to be there. It is a privilege to be named after her.
My Aunt and I were in London and she caught the eye of a Yeoman after following us for several she turned out her hand up and said stop we are enjoying our walk thru the tower London,unaware he was flirting with her ,love you forever
