RANDALL, James “Jim” H., age 92, of Oakwood and formerly of Bellbrook, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025. Jim graduated from Kiser High School. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree, both with a focus on Electrical Read Obituary
Jim Randall was like a second father to me.
He would faithfully give me a hard time at each and every visit, overnights with Lisa included. One of life’s blessings is that a good example, such as Jim, can in part, become an intricate part of who you are becoming, as you realize the value of that example! And I know that I am not even close to being the only one that God allowed him to instill godly values into.
I can never thank Jim enough for his faithfulness to daily pray at the same time each morning at 5:30 am sharp. As this girl in her youth benefitted when she would hear him on her way to the restroom, every morning she was a guest at their home. And because it was the first thing he did every morning, nothing interrupted his alone time with God. This was also my first look at integrity.
Jim lays on God, all his cares over the souls that God placed in his life, even more so now. As God is faithful to hear our prayers on both sides of heaven and God is still moving to answer Jim’s prayers.
Great is Thy faithfulness Lord!
And thank You Lord, for allowing Jim to be a paramount example to many.
Love and prayers to all those who have temporarily lost a godly example.
Until we see Jim again, we will also implement a life that points others to God, so that we remain faithful and strong on this side of heaven.

Dear Randall Cousins,
I am profoundly saddened to hear of the passing of your father and the void it will leave not having him here on this earth. He was truly a Christ-like example, embodying the patience of Job in every aspect of his life.
His encouragement and friendship were a blessing to all who knew him. I would visit Jim after Kevin died and he brought much comfort when we talked about how Kevin, Pi, Pat and Joanne were all together.
I feel honored and proud to have been able to call him my Uncle, even if only by marriage. Kevin thought so highly of Jim, I am glad they are together again. It is a great comfort to know that they are all up there cheering us on and continually praying for us without ceasing.

Craig, Keith and Lisa-I’m so sorry for your loss. Memories so manitoulin island always included your dad and mom. I can’t think of one without the other…some of the best times!
The smile on Jim’s face when it was a good fishing day and he would hold up the catch:) I loved visiting and hearing the stories and laughter in the evenings, the cards games and even the joking, which was always funnier when the joke wasn’t about ourselves.
I looked up to Jim. He was a kind, calm man who was sure of himself and his path in life.

Jim's smile, sense of humor, and his conversations will be missed. What a great Godly man and a friend. Our condolences to the Randall family.
