ROWLAND, James “Jamie” E. Jr., age 47, of Lebanon passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Atrium Medical Center in Middletown. Jamie graduated from Lebanon High School in 1991. He officially retired from the highway departme Read Obituary
Jamie my brother from my other mother, I will always remember camping on the Ohio River and our days of running the Elmwood moose.

Jamie- I moved in two doors down from you in 2004, we were good friends ever since. I just want to thank you for everything you taught me and shared with me. I could always count on you if I needed help. We spent a lot of time mowing, cutting trees, working on cars, sitting around bonfires , and doing whatever else may of been thrown our way at the time. Your family will be on our thoughts and prays.
A great neighbor who always had a smile. We never had any idea what he was up too. Fly high Jamie you definitely made your mark on this world.
Jamie was a kind soul. Although we hadn’t hung out in years I will always remember him. He started my love for motorcycles and kinda helped me grow the confidence I needed to get mine. He always knew how to have fun. Corrinna I’m so sorry for your loss.
Jamie- few times in my life am I without words, but this is one of them. You Loved my family fiercely as your own. My boys believed you were larger than life- and you were. Stubborn and yet soft, funny and yet so deep on so many levels, and you were always there for everyone - no one ever had to ask. You just always knew when and where you were needed. I look back on some of the many times we spent together as families and I can see clearly now that you knew more about this world than most people. You understood that time is fleeting and I think that’s why when we were in your presence- you were always present. The only consolation I think we can be left with is that you experienced so much joy in the day to day. You truly got that that’s where most of the really good stuff happens. I now realize I fully expected you to outlive most of us. This leaves me in what can only be described as shock that God allowed you to be taken from us- and especially your Beautiful wife and son- far far too early. Quite frankly, I’m angry with God over that. But I also have an unmistakable sense that you are at Peace. One thing I know for sure- it may have been your heart that took you, but you had the best heart of almost anyone I’ve ever known.
Jamie was heck of a guy. Many continued prayers for your family. Jamie will be missed by all. I wish we had made the time recently for a dinner outing. Gone way to soon.
