Jeffery W. Morrow's Obituary
MORROW, Jeffery W., age 65, of Spring Valley and formally of Waynesville, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023, at his residence.
Jeffery was a 1976 graduate of Waynesville High School. He retired in 2019 as the supervisor of environmental services at Kettering Medical Center after 19 years of service. He formerly worked 20 years laying carpet for the Carpet Store in Waynesville.
Loving, caring, giving, and friendly, Jeff had an outgoing personality and greatly enjoyed talking to friends and family. He loved everything to do with cars and especially enjoyed drag racing. Over the years, he owned several unique vehicles, including a ’68 Camaro and a ’67 and ’72 Chevelle. He enjoyed working on cars, attending car shows and swap meets, and outings to Kil-Kare Speedway and Drag Strip. He especially enjoyed attending shows and events with his sons, which created a bond between them. Jeffery also followed NASCAR, with Dale Earnhart being his favorite driver. He was also a big fan of the Bengals and Buckeyes. When the kids were young, he had a tradition of taking them hiking to Old Man’s Cave. He loved the holidays and would wait until everyone was sleeping on Christmas before coming into the living room to ring some bells and leave some reindeer food for the kids to find, surprisingly. He always ensured that the Christmas tree was loaded with gifts for everyone. Among many things, he will be remembered for how much he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillie Morrow. He is survived by his father, Joe Morrow; three sons, C.J. Morrow (fiancée, Kylie), Blake Morrow, and Robby Baker; daughter, Stacie (Justin) Stechenfinger; five grandchildren, Collin, Cora, Harper, Devan, and Brodie; and two sisters, Jodi Morrow and Robyn Morrow.
The family will receive friends from 11 AM - 1 PM on Friday, December 29, at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Immediately following, there will be a memorial service at 1 PM at the funeral home. Brian Bennett will be officiating the services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made toward the funeral expenses directly at the funeral home. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
