To one of the Greatest Men I've had the privilege of knowing. Jim probably didn't know the impact he had on my life. Renee introduced me to her family in Junior high and this mountain of a man was a gentle giant. He welcomed me with open arms into his home and family. He taught me the game of soccer and silly enough, how to wrap a burrito. He made me feel safe and loved, I never wanted to go home. Most of all he taught me what the word "Dad" means. He was an amazing Dad to Renee and Kim and I often referred to him as my adopted dad. Although we lost touch through the years, he always held a special place in my heart. Renee I am eternally grateful to you for introducing and sharing your family with me. Jim I will always have a place in my heart for you and can't wait to see you again and share some laughs. Oh daddy how I miss you. You went through hell and back for 5 1/2 weeks and I’m so sorry that I couldn’t take away the pain. You were the strongest most loving man I have ever known and I will carry on living the way you did. You never met and stranger and everyone loved you. I know you are with and will be for the rest of my time on this earth. I cherish every moment that we had especially our fishing trip in Fremont Ohio. Those white bass were so much fun to catch! Thank you for teaching me how to work on cars, fish, dig in the dirt, to not be afraid of hard work, to love people, all people, to be kind, compassionate, and generous, to always have God in my life, to be strong but flexible, and to love and care for my family as you did. You were the best girl dad of all times. I love you, and I will miss you so so much. ❤️😢
