John Anthony Faig's Obituary
FAIG, John Anthony, age 70, of Oregonia, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Ohio Living Quaker Heights in Waynesville.
John graduated from Roger Bacon High School in Cincinnati. He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, where he received a purple heart. He retired as an engineer with GE.
He was very patriotic and was a huge supporter of the Cincinnati VA. As a quiet person, he typically stayed to himself, but at times could be quite the comedian. He was also known to be very intelligent and headstrong. In his spare time, he greatly enjoyed working on cars and tinkering with a multitude of things.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Ruth Faig. He is survived by his daughter Tracy (Andrea Jackson) Faig; four grandchildren Obar Collins II, D. Jackson, Ana Barham, and Anthony Henley; three great grandchildren; one brother Harold; and five sisters Patty, Sherry, Bonnie, Becky, and Tammy.
Celebration of life service will be 10 AM Friday, June 12, 2020 at Wellman Group Family Camp at Caesar's Creek State Park in Waynesville. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
