Several years ago, I began my career as a School Counselor at Waynesville Elementary School. I remember feeling nervous those first few days of school. I was in a brand new position, in a new area far away from my home, and I didn't know anyone. Then, along came Marilyn to introduce herself with her bright, friendly, welcoming smile. She always made me feel special and cared about during every exchange we shared. She was kind to everyone and a friend to all. She will be missed! I am wishing peace and comfort to Marilyn's family as they go through this difficult time. Please know Marilyn touched many lives and will not be forgotten! ❤️
Mike and I were blessed to have a treasure like Marilyn in our lives. We will pray for your family to be comforted. Due to illness, we can't attend the visitation or service, but wanted you to know that we are honoring the memory of your mother's friendship in our hearts.
Marylin was the first friend I made at Waynesville when i moved here. She was a wonderful person. Marylin never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She loved everyone. She was always there for my kids and I. She always watched over my kids at school. She was once a friend then I considered her to be mom to me. I will always love her!
