I only today stumbled across this obituary and beautiful memory of Mary‘s life. It was rumored in the school community that Mary had died, but no one has been able to find any details until now. I am so very sad too confirm that she is gone. She and I connected Instantly on the day that we met and learned that we were both named Mary Read (Reed for me). She was one of the most wonderful people I have ever known. My sympathies to all of the extended family, and especially to you, Dave.
