Merle Hoover's Obituary
HOOVER, Merle of Waynesville, passed from his earthly home to his heavenly home on June 17, 2014. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Middletown. Merle retired from being a teacher with the Kettering City Schools. He is survived by his wife Betty, brother Dwight, sister Lauretta, step brothers Larry and James, and numerous family members and cherished friends. Preceding his in death was his first wife Marlys, his parents Orville and Helen, brothers John, Paul and Bruce and sisters Wanda and Thelma. Funeral services 2 PM Tues. June 24 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Funeral delivered by David Stidham and David Hartbarger. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will received friends Noon - 2 PM Tues. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Mid Western Children’s Home 4585 Long-Spurling Rd. Pleasant Plain, OH 45162.
