Noel was a wonderful friend and neighbor. His wise advice and keen insight were always spot on. I've missed both over the years. The world is much more empty for me with the realization he is no longer out there.
Have a bottle of brandy waiting for us old friend. I'm sure I'll be seeing you soon.
Looked forward to seeing Noel & Eileen when as teenage friends of their son we would be passing through, or even, I remember, a rather competitive game of Trivial Pursuit. Noel was welcoming, engaging, and always sharing his wisdom by use of an amusing anecdote. He'll be missed.
