My memory of Mr Diaz is aman who came to this country and assimilated. He learned our language,went to school and studied.A very disciplined and industrious man and passed this on to Robert and Vicky. He was ambitious and had endurance. He was there for family functions. At Vicky ‘s wedding he requested Jose Feliciamo’s song, don’t remember what it was but so touching. He went to Hawaii and I was there when he was helping Robert with a home project, even though he had end stage kidney disease.He helped Vanessa learn to drive., and he was able to go to Hannah’s wedding. He helped with table settings for it. If you talked to him he would come around to Illinois real estate taxes and the unfairness of them and probably one reason he moved to Ohio. He also wanted to be near family which was important for him.
