Robert Diaz's Obituary
DIAZ, Robert, age 79, of Springboro and formerly of Lake In The Hills, IL, passed away Tues. Jan. 29, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
Robert was hardworking, dedicated, self-taught, and mechanically inclined who was driven at an early age to build and fix things on his own. He was family oriented and extremely proud of his grandchildren. Some of the memorable times of his life were the many fishing endeavors to Wisconsin, trips to Florida, and the trips to visit his son in Hawaii. He greatly enjoyed collecting artifacts and memorabilia from Hawaii and his native country of Colombia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister. He is survived by his significant other of nine years, Donna Herman; son Robert (Andrea) Diaz; daughter Vicky (Jeff) Piper; and five grandchildren Hannah (Mark) Kinkade, Derek Diaz, Vanessa Diaz, Caitlyn Piper, and Cameron Piper.
