Steve Hiatt, 66, of Waynesville, Ohio, went to Heaven on Thursday, May 9, at Miami Valley South Hospital following his journey/battle with lung cancer. Roxie, Matt, and Brandon were with him as he peacefully went to Jesus. St Read Obituary
I have fond memories of Steve as a young boy in Versailles, Ohio. When I was in high school his parents trusted me to care for Colleen and Steve for a week while they enjoyed a vacation. There was never a dull moment when Steve was present. Over the years we lost contact until recently. I enjoyed our phone conversations as we reminisced about the past, especially Steve’s memories of my husband, Ralph. I am deeply saddened by Steve’s passing and send my deepest condolences to Roxie, Colleen, and their families. He will be greatly missed.

Steve chose well when he married Roxie! What a beautiful family they created.
I would periodically get phone calls from Steve the last several years, to discuss whatever was on his agenda. It was wonderful to hear him talk about his faith (hallelujah).
I am sad for his family that he is no longer physically present with them but know that his legacy lives on and he is with his savior. Wishing peace to all.
