I worked with Wayne at Kroger, and I just found out today about his passing. I always enjoyed hearing the music Wayne and his fellow musicians created at the West Chester Memorial Day Parade. Here’s the same photo of him cropped two different ways from the 2013 parade.
The wife and I will miss Wayne and Patty's visits to his home town and old neighborhood. It was always a pleasure to see them and what ever pet they had stuffed in their tiny vehicle. He always had a joke or something that would brighten you day while he was here. We will always treasure his place in our memory's from his youth with his Mom and brother, hiding out at our place for some quiet time, to his last visit here with Patty, our last cigar on the deck on a cold fall night.
Rest in Peace Wayne you left us way too early!
