I worked with Whit from nov 79 to 1984 he was my linecrew forman. It was just me and Whit in old 7906 pitman cornermount digger truck. I had just started with united telephone and was very green, Whit was patient with me, took me by the hand and taught me the ropes. I really looked up to Whit he was a great line crew foreman, and friend. What a blast we had. Whit took me up to his grandma and grandpa's farm his grandpa was a case cracked me up. I really enjoyed getting to know Whit. He was a great guy and a good friend.

Whit was one of my favorite people to work with. He always had a positive spin and wisdom to any trying time. I will always remember our talks and his philosophy on life's journeys.
I met Whit several years ago on his property when I worked for Warren County Soil and Water. He and I both loved the outdoors and hunting. We shared many hunting stories and Whit was kind enough to let me turkey hunt his property. My oldest son got his very first turkey in 2020 on Whit's property. Whit was so happy for my son. I am truly saddened by the loss of Whit and my prayers go out to his family.

Whit and I were in a few classes together in High School. He was a really nice and oh so funny classmate. We also attended Calvary Baptist Church together, along with his girlfriend and later his wife Charlene. Prayers go out to his family and may God wrap his arms around them assuring them he is home in Heaven.

I first met Whit when I first moved to Lebanon in 1968. He and I were in the same class and I recall how fondly he made me feel welcome. It was an awkward time to move into a new school alone and he provided a sense of calm. Saddened to hear of his passing and my prayers go out to his family.
